A NEW MILESTONE FOR VAKOVAKO: 20 MILLION CZK DISTRIBUTED, NEARLY 14 MILLION FROM STARTEEPO

VAKOVAKO just hit a major milestone: it's now distributed over 20 million Czech crowns ($951,433) to help children, animals, and projects protecting our planet. The biggest donor behind that number is STARTEEPO, which alone has given nearly 14 million Czech crowns through VAKOVAKO.

20 million CZK in sent donations. Behind that number are dozens of real stories and projects that would have struggled to get off the ground, or keep going, without donor support.

Since it launched, VAKOVAKO has backed nonprofits and projects across a wide range of causes, from helping children in Czechia to supporting endangered animals to protecting biodiversity, rainforests, and oceans around the world.

37 fundraisers have been supported so far, and crossing the 20-million-crown mark is a good reminder that steady, long-term support really does add up.

STARTEEPO: nearly 14 million CZK given

STARTEEPO is a big part of this story, as VAKOVAKO's largest donor by far. So far, STARTEEPO has put nearly 14 million CZK into charitable projects through VAKOVAKO, roughly two-thirds of everything VAKOVAKO has raised since it began.

37 fundraisers, real results

VAKOVAKO has run 37 fundraisers to date, each tackling a different need and helping specific people, communities, or projects.

The biggest single fundraiser raised over 1.6 million CZK: a campaign to fund a car that changes life for students with disabilities at the Olga Havlova Secondary School.

Beyond the fundraisers themselves, VAKOVAKO also puts effort into raising awareness, producing 9 podcast episodes and 2 films along the way.

Mostly helping close to home

Most of the money, 61.61%, has gone to causes in Czechia. The rest supported people and endangered animals abroad, plus biodiversity, rainforest, and ocean conservation worldwide.

It's a good reminder that charity can look like a lot of things: helping someone through a hard time, giving kids with disabilities a better shot, protecting animals, or investing in nature.

20 million is just a milestone, not a finish line

Crossing 20 million CZK is a big moment for VAKOVAKO and everyone who's helped make it happen.

Thank you to every donor, company, partner, and individual who's helped make this possible. And most of all, thank you to the nonprofits and projects out there doing the work every day to help people, animals, and our planet. 💛
